This journal was created for the moments when trust feels fragile, emotions run deep, and words don’t always come easily. It’s here to give you both a safe place to slow down, process, and reflect together.
Before you begin, take time to talk about the conversations that matter most in your healing journey. What do you need to understand? What truths need to be shared? What hopes do you want to hold on to?
Then, set the rules that will help you keep these reflections safe. Will you listen with your whole attention? Will you speak from your own experience instead of blaming? Will you take breaks when things feel too heavy? These agreements are your anchor, keeping you steady when emotions rise.
Set aside 10–20 minutes for each prompt. Read it aloud, share your thoughts openly, and then capture what you’ve discovered here. These pages are meant to be completed as a team through conversation, reflection, and shared writing. Think of it as a record of your healing journey, with both the healing partner and the supporting partner bringing their thoughts together to rebuild trust and closeness.
Some prompts are designed for each partner to answer separately. Use these as stepping stones for conversation starters: reflect privately, then bring your answers into an open dialogue with your partner before journaling as a team. If a question feels too raw to share right away, that’s okay, hold it for later and return when it feels safe. The goal isn’t perfection, but honesty, compassion, and respect.
