This workbook is designed to help couples reconnect, reflect, and grow together. Each of the 101 exercises is created to encourage open communication, emotional insight, and shared understanding.
One workbook, two voices:
In this workbook, each exercise is presented twice: once with a ❤️ for Partner A and once with a 💙 for Partner B. This design allows both partners to engage with the same prompt, fostering personal reflection. After completing your responses, look for the appearance of the red and blue hearts together 💙❤️; this signals it's time to come together. Share your thoughts, compare insights, and engage in meaningful conversations to deepen your connection.
Suggested Schedule:
You don’t need to rush. We recommend starting with 2–3 exercises per week, then taking time each weekend to reflect together. If an exercise brings up strong emotions or feels meaningful, pause and revisit it later.
How to Approach This as a Couple:
You should answer based on your experiences, feelings, and perspective, not what your partner wants to hear.
You can complete the exercises separately and then come together to share, listen, and learn from each other’s reflections.
Or, you can work through them in conversation, writing as you go.
Don’t just answer, reflect deeply and commit to one change you’re willing to make, then put this into action.
There’s no right or wrong, just an opportunity to understand each other more deeply and honestly.
A Note on Expectations:
This workbook isn’t meant to “fix” your relationship overnight. Instead, think of it as a tool to build emotional awareness, communication skills, and mutual empathy step by step, at your own pace.
Therapy-Friendly:
While this workbook can be completed independently, it can also be a valuable companion to professional couples counselling. You can even bring completed exercises into therapy sessions to support deeper exploration.
